The Hartley's were my first Christmas session this weekend. I was excited to try out my new props! Note to all of you who have Christmas sessions coming, remind me to plug the lights in :)
It was a rough weekend, during my first session a breaker blew my studio lights. I had back to back appointments as well. Luckily, the Harltey's are very easy going and we went outside to take a few. I love Ally's expression, she is always so sassy! When I was going through pictures I had so many of her giving me such a bad look! Lession learned: 2 year olds don't like pictures.

I think Ally was trying to ignore me :)

This is such a beautiful family and noticed they all have bright blue eyes! We did these pictures in between rain showers but everything turned out great. I was able to take a picture in this session that I knew when I took it it would be my favorite. I had a split second to caputre it and I made the deadline. It may not be everyone's favorite, but I am going to put it in my top 10 of the year! I love how these pictures demostrate the personalities of the boys!
This was my first shoot with Canter! Jay hates pictures! He was especially mad that Jennifer mad him shave his deer hunting beard and he had to wear a sweater. Braxton is getting old enough to really get into pictures. I love his expression in some of these photos!
I love to take pictures of Wyatt because he smiles the whole time! I think he is one of the happiest babies I know. I also got to try out Lt Dan for the first time for pictures. Wyatt loved him and I think they turned out very cute. Here is a serious for you...
The Chitwoods are always so much fun to photograph! The kids are so photogenic and Alana is a big ham. Thanks to Wendy, we had a cool red leather sofa for the family pictures. I think it turned out as a great prop, I love all the pictures we got with it. Yesterday morning was so cold but these guys did a great job of acting warm!
Needless to say I have to apologize to all of you who did photos last weekend in the rain, but props to you! When you really want fall color at its best we will get pictures done. Also, Jonelle, I must say whatever you put in your hair worked fabulous, you can't even tell it got wet. Nolan was one of the funniest babies I have met because he really got to laughing about things. I am posting a few of my favorites including one of him busting up laughing! Enjoy :)
Cally is such a doll and I love her long blonde hair and blue eyes! She is very photogentic and I think she had a good time playing in the pumpkin patch and visiting the "Hay House". Enjoy!
